Verse in the Qur’an
A verse in the Qur’an that speaks to me:
Good guys will have no fear no sorrow
This is what it means to me:
They live not in the past nor in tomorrow
They live in the now, in taqwa abound
Goodness they amass, in it surround
Each moment of act
Appropriate and compact
This way on earth
There is no sorrow or fear
Of excellence there is a dearth
In taqwa, Allah always held dear
On these good guys of iman
There is no khauf nor huzn1
No expectation, no demand
Life not seen through a prism
This beautiful verse of the Qur’an
Comes oft enough to strengthen iman
As ever valid it is today
May we be one of this Way
