Ya Allah. Let me prepare for the party
Let me prepare for the party that is to be
Let me prepare for that which is sure to be
Let me plan and prepare for the party to be
Ya Allah Let my beautiful dress be one of taqwa
Let the gift I take be my good deeds
Let my cooking be free from the spice of life
Let it be free from ghibah, hasad, rancour and strife
Ya Allah May I use all this time remembering the party
Where entry depends on the gifts I take
Y a Rabb make it be that it is a load full of good deeds
Make me be ready for this party that’s not a fake
Ya Rabb this party is for real, this party is 100% halaal
Ya Rabb, you’d be happy if I prepare for this
May your help and guidance be with me so not to miss
This time you’ve given me Ya dhul Jalaal
Ya Allah Let my dress of taqwa be a blemish free skirt
Let me ensure I don’t stain it with any dirt
Let my blouse be jewelled with the love of you
May I be rightly guided in a comfortable shoe
May the cake I bake be iced with ikhlas
May the deeds I take to my grave be packed with ehsan
May I clean out my kitchen of crap and garbage
May I leave a spotless clean kitchen with no kibr or sin
Ya Allah let me not carry to the party any arrogance or shirk
Let me be feather light and free of ill will and sins
Through tawbah n istaghfar Ya Rabb let me off load my wrongs
With Afu and generosity Ya Rabb, wipe clean my slate
Ya Allah allow my entry to the heavenly party
Let me carry in there a loaded plate
Full of ehsan, full of ikhlas, full of love to see your face
And as an insan e kamil may I be graced
Ya Allah Let me find at the party
My place with the shuhada and sualiheen
With the Anbiya, the khalifa tur rashideen
Ya Allah make me qualify as one of the abideen
