While there’s life
there’s sound
the engine, the motor
the machine, the pump
Life lives in sound
imperceptibly found
the stethoscope to
gauge the heart beat
Sound key ingredient of life
in plants, ocean and reefs
listen for life signs
in sound
Last sense to sleep
is the ear that hears
silence reflects the end
or is the grave only a bend?
Sounds beyond barzakh
life beyond the silence
if I don’t hear
it’s not there?
