Month of amazing ajab*

We ask for forgiveness
And we pray we witness
The month of Shaaban
and blessings of Ramadhan

Rajab a sacred month
It stands alone
From the other three
Sacred months

It ushers in seven more
Glorious months
Till muharram begins
Then we pledge again

In Rajab
Constantly uproot the weeds
Constantly sow seeds
Tend to the garden of life
Nourish the soil of your soul

Plant the seeds
Water the soul
With beautiful deeds
See blessings unfold

The blessing and barakah
Built up in Shabaan
To the month of Qur’an
Royal Ramadhan

So in Rajab reconnect
Respect and correct
The protocol of dua
Real road to falaah

Hamd is thanks and praises
Standards it truly raises
Then Durood and salawaat
Gives us a head start

Best self awareness
Is our need for forgiveness
Imploring to the Gaffaar
With endless istighfaar

Remember in Rajab
Allah’s amazing ajab*
