Feel
feel the energy flow
when in sajdah* you go
feel the tiredness dissipate
when in salaah** you concentrate
feel the pores energized
each cell each core sensitized
in the reading
in the memorizing
in the understanding
in the imbibing
Feel
have the goosebump moments
its not by design or volition
it’s in the connection
it happens
Feel
make it Real Ya Rabbi
give meaning to my salaah
make it be source of endless falaah***
if only I be in the moment
switch off to dunya
Qur’an the guiding light
may it be Real for me
may I truly Feel
