My phone in my hand
is my genie in the lamp
works at my command

Instead of rubbing
I swipe the screen
What, who is to be seen

I can order my food
chalk out my path
check the weather forecast

My phone is my crystal ball
my genie in the lamp
always charged – on call

It is the dummy for solace
each instant check
without it I’m bereft
