Marginalised

The pain of being sidelined

The perception of being marginalised

The hurt, anguish related to it

Perceived insults. Being disregarded

Ultimately all hurt is perception based

Not given position, captaincy

Emerged expectancy unfulfilled.

Discrepancy between the should and the Is

Marginalised – feeling so hurt

Something close to heart

Overshadowed, sidelined

Ultimately outcomes are Allah’s decree.

Sorrow, pain and hurt reflect

Non Acceptance of what Is

Wanting results to be different

Reflects unhappiness over Allah’s decree

Pain deep and heart hurts

Heavy heart – wallow

For a while dwell

Then let go – what is Is

Deep hurt, bury it deep

Await the award in akhirah

Relook at intentions

Appreciation does not matter

Sorrow sms’d to heaven

Huzn*, shared  with the Creator

Smile to creation 

Wounds need not show

Marginalised, only a perception

Giving meaning no one sees

As long as Allah’s pleased

Doesn’t matter what fool you look

.

Being sidelined means nothing.
