Reality check

Reality check, what is, is

No reason to be in a tizz

Choices made, choices taken

No need to be grief stricken

The ‘could be’ ‘should be’ not real

What is, is, in touch, be, feel

Check out what is the fact

Not how it strays from the pact

Reality check, then think what next

Realign, reassess, and be exact

Listen to the voice on the GPS

Take a wrong turn and it will reassess

No hardship, no resistance, just accept

The now is real, true and perfect

Resist it, and join the queue

Of judging, stuck in point of view

With every judgment made

In the operating system, reality fades

It’s a point of view 

That grips you

Decisions made based on opinion

Belong to the world of ego dominion

It’s seeing things with a fogged vision

Reality a casualty, out comes friction

The sky is blue, the sky is blue

No reason to crib, resist or rue

It’s acceptance of reality, nothing more

Seeing things as they are – is core

The grass is green, lush green

Or sparsely laid out, barely clean

See it as is, or resist, 

From the ‘should be’ do desist

It may need water, or compost

Reality check, focus not lost

What needs to be done, gets done

No issue, no pain, plain fun

Focus is on the now

No history, why or how

Pain comes in judgment mode

Too busy trying to decode

All the fake, false deceptions

Grown out of opinions and perceptions

A reality check out of the window

See the fruit of what we sow

Practice the reality check

Avoid being a nervous wreck

Don’t abdicate to mind games

That leads to the blame games

A reality check so pristine

Makes you feel fresh and clean

Issues disappear, anger and rage

A paradigm shift – out of the cage

Haqq and truth stand alone

Can’t tamper with, nor clone

Sincerity and commitment are tools

To extract from earth living jewels

Serving humanity is service to God,

Not about the carrot or the rod

Do one’s bit, let the rest be

Watch blessings, reality see

It’s never tit for tat

You do this, so I do that

Source of motivation lies  inside

Where core of goodness resides

No matter what, 

On  values don’t give up
